Woodall's has been providing information about RVing and camping for nearly 75 years. In 1935, Karl Hale Dixon founded the company with Trailer Travel magazine. Within a few months, he realized people needed to know where they could camp and so started a directory of camping locations. At that time, there were as many as 102 "trailerites" wandering North America verifying the existence of parks. That verification has turned into the Woodall 1 - 5 Rating System. From those beginnings, we've developed into a company with 12 different Campground directories and guides, a family camping magazine, plus books on RV care & maintenance, cooking and camping on the road, and camping with pets.
Woodall’s also has a website with specialized search engines that power its extensive database of RV resorts and campgrounds, RV dealers and service centers, and local area attractions all across North America from Canada on down through the U.S. to Mexico.
